This policy explains what www.fractary.com (the "Site"), operated by Jamnaytac LLC d/b/a The Fractary, collects about you, what we do with it, and what we don't do. The short version: we collect very little, we don't track you for advertising, and we don't sell anything about you.
Information you submit. When you request a Foundry invite or contact us, we receive what you send: typically your name, email address, business name and URL, a revenue range, and your message. Invite requests and other messages arrive by email. Email you send to hello@fractary.com is handled by our email provider like any other email.
Server logs. The Site is hosted on AWS Amplify. Like most hosting providers, it keeps standard server logs that can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and timestamps. We use these only to keep the Site running and to diagnose problems.
Fonts. The Site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts. When your browser fetches the font files, Google may receive your IP address and standard request headers. See Google's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Links to other services. If you follow a link to GitHub, our community chat, a venture's website, or a Stockyard listing, that site's privacy policy applies, not this one.
We don't run advertising trackers. We don't currently use analytics cookies or any analytics service. We don't set cookies for our own purposes. We don't sell, rent, or trade your information, and we don't share it with anyone except the service providers named above that need it to deliver the Site.
We use what you submit to respond to you and, for invite requests, to decide whether to extend an invitation. We use server logs to operate and secure the Site. That's it.
We keep form submissions and email for as long as we need them to handle your request and keep a record of our correspondence, then delete them when they're no longer needed. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's default settings.
You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information you've submitted by emailing hello@fractary.com. We'll act on the request within a reasonable time. You can also block third-party font loading in your browser without losing access to the Site's content.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.
We'll post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle information you've already given us, we'll make a reasonable effort to let you know.
